Why Steno
Started in a gym bag, not a boardroom.
Steno began with a simple experience: liquid chalk genuinely helped our training. Grip stopped being the thing that ended a set early — and that changed what a session felt like. But the bottles we bought still left things to fix. Harsh chemical smells. Messy formulas. Plastic tubs destined for landfill.
So we made the version we wanted to own, and Steno's approach was set: find the equipment that genuinely helps people train, work out what could be better, and build it properly — with sustainability taken seriously wherever it genuinely can be. Liquid chalk is the first Steno product, not the last.

An elephant's trunk holds around forty thousand muscles. It can uproot a tree, then pick up a coin — absurd strength, held gently. Elephants step lightly for their size, move together, and never forget a route they've walked. Strength, grip, memory, community. We couldn't have said it better, so we put it on the bottle.

Far less than powder. It dries onto your hands rather than everything nearby, and what little transfers wipes off with water. Gym owners tend to notice, in a good way.
Is it just for lifting? +
No. It's one formula for any training where grip matters: weightlifting, climbing, gymnastics, CrossFit and functional fitness, calisthenics, pole. If your hands are the contact point, it applies.
